Join Our Volunteer & Bootcamp Package

This package combines the bootcamp and volunteering activities. You will exercise for an hour in the morning, then join the volunteering during the day, and then you have the option to join in with the evening exercise session.

One Week: $1970

Two Weeks: $1773 per week

Should you be forced to leave early or you are dissatisfied with our service we offer 100% money back for the remainder of your stay. For example, if you have paid for 3 weeks and you leave after the first week, we will reimburse you for the remaining 2 weeks. 

Travel costs occuring outside the allocated leaving days are not included. Special transport will be charged at the going rate. 

The bootcamp includes 6 days training a week at the outdoor body weight gym and lodge gym, as well as scenic safari runs and dam swims. We also include training with the anti poaching scouts for the parks rhinos. Our goal is to push both your bodies and your minds to the limit and foster amazing team bonding and a social environment.

To foster this social life amongst and make it an unforgetable experience we participate in the following activities.

• Sunrise & sunset safari rides, show jumping and polocrosse matches.
• Wildlife darting and care, including lion and elephant. (Subject to necessity)
• Social safari drives.
• Closeup wildlife encounters, including lion walks as well as elephant and rhino interactions.
• Booze cruises.
• Starlight by campfire in the bush
• Fishing
• Weekend parties and karaoke nights for those who want to join with a weekly supply of free alcohol.  
• Movie nights
   

The volunteering is made available at extra cost. African bootcamp partners with Antelope Park to give you access to join in with some of their volunteer activities during your stay.

The programs include:

1. Safari Stables working holiday. You work in the stables during the morning and then do fun and educational horse activities such as show jumping, dressage, polocrosse, cross country and moonlight safari rides. 
2. Wildlife Management. You will have up close access to elephants, rhinos and lions and will be tasked with maintaining their wellfare. This includes sourcing food and cleaning camps. 
3. Community service. You can help out in the local communities with aid projects such as teaching at the local schools, food kitchens and subject to availability you can aid in building school facilites and any other project that helps the local communities. 

There are travel costs as well as some activities that are offered but which are not included in the course costs.

• Victoria falls trip. The park has connections with a lodge at Victoria Falls. This is an amazingly beautiful trip with phenominal wildlife and activities such as bungee jumping, gorge swing and access to restaurants which serve african foods such as crocodile, mopane worms and antelope.
• Photography course.

The basic accommodation is communal, with 2-4 people sharing a room in a private lodge. You have the option to upgrade to the premium 2 person Safari tents for $350. We cannot guarantee a solo room, but please feel free to contact us to check availability. 

• Can I change my package if I'm already there?

No problem. You can change at any point if you feel you will get better value from another package. You will be charged at the new rate for the remaining days of your stay. 

• What if I am not very fit?

Don't worry, we give you a pre holiday training plan, and we make allowances for those who are obviously behind the group.

• Meals and vegan options.

We provide well rounded meals as well as vegan options. However, we do not follow a specific diet plan. We also have healthy smoothies and food options at extra cost from the coffee shop.

• Do you provide exercise supplements. 

We do not offer free supplements, but we can source some at cost for you. (Please note that advanced notice is required.)
